Don’t, can’t tell me
What to do
What to say
How to look.
I won’t listen
To you.
Get off of me
I don’t like it
And I won’t pretend I do

I’ll scream and yell
Forever — if that’s what it takes
Because you can’t hurt me
Now.
I am armed
With inner strength and
Empowerment.
