I choose to accept failures And move forward in An endeavor to achieve success
I choose to reassess what is seen as failure As something less Demeaning so as not To unnecessarily martyr My self
I choose to allow For feelings of disappointment to let the sadness Occur, then Move forward
I choose that every time I Look into the mirror I Will love who and what I see.
I choose to embrace My face and my figure And know that others struggle with their own identity too
I choose To make conscious decisions that will Allow for good health and longevity
I choose to read Women's writings and magazines Yet still enjoy what others have To offer.
I choose to embrace my vulgarity and imperfections while still maintaining respect for others
I choose not to get So caught up in the hype That I began to lose Myself.
I choose to ignore Messages of beauty Portrayed by mass media In another example of patriarchal Capitalism
I choose to not let fear Of financial insecurity Hold me back.
I choose to take the time to make wise decisions And be gentle to myself when making Errors in judgment
I choose to be open To possibilities of new romance But to not dwell on the Lack of opportunities
I choose to accept my children's decisions as their own And not by how it affects or reflects Me
I choose to enjoy my Life as it is today, as it Was yesterday and as it Will be tomorrow.
I choose to think where I Am today is okay. Being myself Is okay, more than okay.
I choose to continue to do Things that will improve Upon my life and allow for Financial security and independence And mental/emotional security and Independence
MOVE FORWARD, BE SECURE, TRUST THE PROCESS, MAKE WISE DECISIONS, CONSIDER OTHERS, TAKE CARE OF MYSELF, DON'T BECOME OVERWHELMED, EMBRACE CHALLENGE, DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS, ACKNOWLEDGE INSECURITIES, LOOK BACK OCCASIONALLY WITHOUT TOO MUCH REGRET WHILE CONTINUING TO LOOK AHEAD, EMBRACE THE TRAGEDIES AND USE THEM TO HELP OTHERS, KNOW THAT ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS A PART OF ALL THAT YOU ARE, GET OUT OF YOUR OWN HEAD SOMETIMES, BE HONEST...
