The truth
under layers of lies
the lies
deliberate
pre meditated
centuries pass
the lies become
like invisible bars
on an invisible jail
how far I've had to search
inside myself
inside the arms of men
how much I've had to read
to uncover the smallest bits of truth
man's god
not mine
man's church
not mine
man's prophets
man's bishops
man's priests
man's institution
the hi jacker of truth
never will I claim you as my own
never will I need you to find “God”
or mediate for me
I will see past your lies
I will escape your jail cell
and others will follow
the serpent
the ancient symbol of wisdom
the Godess
whom you turned into evil
out of fear
so profound
the lengths taken to oppress
the great threat
that is woman
may the truth prevail.
