Anya’s Womanifesto
The world is my oyster.
I will not get stuck in a bubble of people who think they are hot shit,
who walk all over me,
use me,
abuse me ,
and when I leave because I’m finally done putting up with it,
they come crawling back
and I forgive them.
Because it’s what I do and who I am.
Now it’s what I did and who I was.
I am going on to bigger and better things
where I will not find my worth in another.
I will not let myself be wrapped up in someone else’s life so much
they control
when I am happy,
sad,
having fun,
loving,
hating.
I will not fall into the groove even though it is
so easy to do because it’s so deeply made.
I have been all over the world.
I have seen,
felt,
touched,
smelled,
danced,
and swam in places read about in books.
I want an adventure.
I will go and teach,
play,
love,
grow,
smile,
and share what I know.
Wherever I want to go influence others
and make a difference in their lives.
I am a gypsy, ready to see where the wind carries me.
